[Important Notice] Regarding Phishing Emails/Messages Impersonating Reservation Confirmations

We have identified cases, both in Japan and overseas, of suspicious emails and messages targeting guests who have made reservations through online travel agencies (OTAs).
These messages impersonate booking platforms or hotel staff and attempt to direct recipients to phishing websites.
In some cases involving reservations made through OTAs for KOBE PORTOPIA HOTEL, fraudulent messages have also been sent via the messaging app WhatsApp, falsely claiming to be from hotel staff.
Please note that our hotel will never request your personal information, credit card details, or additional payments, nor ask you to click on any links, via email, chat, or messaging apps such as WhatsApp under the pretext of confirming or completing your reservation.
If you receive any such suspicious email or message, please do not click on any links or open attachments, and delete the message immediately.
If you believe you may have entered your credit card information or made a payment, please contact your credit card company, financial institution, or local police authority as soon as possible.
For Guests with Existing Reservations
Please be assured that your reservation will not be changed or cancelled unless you make such changes yourself.

We are currently working closely with the relevant booking platform operators and authorities to investigate the cause of these incidents.
