President’s Greeting
Dear Colleagues,

The role of endoscopy has been growing these days not only for diagnosis but also for treatment. Endoscopy has drawn notice as a safe and non-invasive form of diagnosis and treatment. However, the technique has become more complex, and a system for learning technique efficiently is required. Therefore, it is essential to receive training to acquire techniques in medical situations. Our former president “Prof. Takeshi Azuma” established the International Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Training Center in Kobe (I GET KOBE) in November 2010 to share the endoscopic diagnostic techniques and treatment we pioneered with the world and provided training for international gastroenterological endoscopists. We have held International Endoscopy Hands-on Seminars 8 times so far, and have trained more than 180 endoscopists from 34 countries to operate ESD.

Sincerely yours,
Eiji Umegaki, M.D., Ph.D.

Director's Greeting
Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Program Committee, we would like to invite you to the 9th Kobe International Endoscopy Hands-on Seminar in Kobe Japan. The program for the seminar focuses on endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). ESD is an advanced technique of therapeutic endoscopy for superficial gastrointestinal neoplasms, which was developed in Japan. At the previous seminar, 25 trainees from 8 countries attended this course and it received a high evaluation. The seminar will be held from June 7th to June 9th in 2024, and provides you the chance to learn side-by-side with some of the most recognized endoscopists in the world.

We believe that you will learn the best current skills from the excellent trainers at this seminar. We look forward to welcoming you to Kobe.

Sincerely yours,
Yoshinori Morita, M.D., Ph.D.
